About the Builder

I’m Ammar Kashif — a Toronto-based Computer Science co-op student at Toronto Metropolitan University, focused on software development, AI-powered products, data analytics, SaaS tools and startup execution.

I’ve worked inside government technology, shipped full-stack projects, co-founded healthcare and digital ventures, and contributed to applied industry work across automation, dashboards, product strategy and AI tools — building with React, Next.js, Python, Node.js, Flask, Power BI, Azure DevOps, and the Spotify and OpenAI APIs.

What drives me is practical building — understand a real problem, break it down, design a clean solution, and turn it into something people can actually use.

Whether it’s a playlist generator, a healthcare concept, a government analytics workflow, or a client’s website, I care about making technology clear, usable and meaningful.

Playlist Helper

An AI-powered Spotify playlist generator that turns plain-language prompts into real, saved playlists — with a guard that asks for the details it needs before it builds.

PROBLEMBuilding playlists by hand is tedious, and the right vibe is hard to type into a search bar.

I BUILTThe whole thing end-to-end: Spotify OAuth, the AI prompt layer, live preview, save/delete, in-app playback and token-refresh handling — deployed on Vercel.
